The Venue at Falls Park Styled Shoot in Greenville, SC

Styled Shoots

March 10, 2020

I am so thankful for this AMAZING opportunity to be able to put together a styled shoot through my photography Internship with Nichole Lauren Photography. Nichole, Haley & I all worked together to put this amazing dusty blue styled shoot together along side some amazing vendors.

Styled shoots are like a photographers playground, I had as much time as I needed to play with the invitation suite and rings to really style them creatively.

The best way to describe a styled shoot is that its like a fake wedding, we have a real couple that models for us in a wedding dress and tux.

Photographers; styled shoots are great ways to connect with vendors and build your portfolio.

“Love love loved the day! I think it was very well organized and so much fun. Styled shoots are an amazing way to: 1) network with other wedding vendors, 2) showcase your skills and artistry without the confinements of a bride’s budget, and 3) play with ideas. It does take a significant amount of time and resources to prepare for a styled shoot, but I have always ended up with fresh new images to use for social media, inspiration for future projects, new peers to work with, and great exposure! It’s a wonderful opportunity!”- Lauren from The Olive Shoe
“It was an honor to be apart of this styled shoot. I loved the idea of getting to collaborate with amazing industry creatives and put my own spin on the shoot. Taylor was very professional and a true artist when it comes to photography!”-Christina with Charming The Carolinas Events
“This styled shoot was a dream! The photographers gathered some of the absolute best vendors of the upstate to come together as one. Communication was fantastic and you could see the thought they put into making this a success!”-Megan with The Art of Megs

“This was a stunning and fun style shoot to be part of because the vendors were such a pleasure to work for and we could not have asked for better weather this day! The color palette was bright and perfect for the upcoming spring season. Taylor, Nicole and Haley were a dream to work with and captured all of the perfect angles! We were honored to provide a fun brunch themed grazing table and passed hors d’oeuvres for the style shoot which added a great pop of color to the overall look of the day. We think that this shoot will provide great inspiration & ideas for couples planning their special day that want a fresh and unique look!”-Bri with Larkins Catering and Events
“I thought it was super fun! Really easy to get along with everyone and i felt totally comfortable. The photos ive seen so far are beautiful! They’re honestly just what i was picturing in my head when we were taking them”-Amanda Leidy
“The shoot was fun. It was a good amount of high-level vendors that I enjoyed working with. Everyone was professional and on their game. Over all I enjoyed it”- Forevermore Farm Floral
“Participating in the styled shoot was a really cool way to get a behind the scenes look into all the hard work that goes into making a styled shoot successful. I was honestly surprised at the time it took to shoot each area – it was almost longer than a regular wedding, which is a testament to the level of detail included in the shoot. I really liked getting to watch the different items be “styled” in order to get the best image (ie the invitations, rings, details..). I thought the images turned out really nice and it was exciting to see my cookies styled to tie together with the rest of the shoot. While this was my first styled shoot, I enjoyed participating in it because it seemed to allow everyone to be creative and take risks in their craft, without the pressure of adhering to a specific client-designated set of guidelines.”-Elizabeth with Liz Made Cookies

We could not of done this magical day with out this incredible group of vendors, I want to thank everyone who helped pull this off and a big shout out to Christina our planner, she was seriously amazing! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!! Fun behind the scenes (:
